About The BEATRIX Pattern

Beatrix is a button-back pullover top with a shirttail hem and a simple silhouette designed for woven fabrics. View a features a 3⁄4-length sleeve and built-in button placket, and view b features short sleeves with a button placket from contrasting fabric. This is a truly versatile pattern for woven fabrics.

Included are fourteen sizes with two front bodice pieces to fit different cup sizes. This modern wardrobe basic is sure to become a favorite!

As of September 2024, the updated Beatrix pattern includes a NEW SIZE RANGE designed to fit chests 32-66 inches [81-168 cm] and hips 35-70 inches [89-178 cm], metric and imperial charts, layered PDF pattern pieces in both print-at-home and A0 formats, and a PROJECTOR FILE for home projector setups! Yardage and Materials

  • woven fabric

  • 0.5 yd [0.4 m] of 44 inch [1.1 m] wide lightweight fusible garment interfacing

  • polyester thread

  • Six 3⁄8 inch [10 mm] or 1⁄2 inch [13 mm] buttons

Recommended fabrics

Woven lightweight fabrics such as lawn, shot cotton, shirting, double gauze, broadcloth, lightweight chambray, silk noil, and rayon challis.
